I graduated in 2011 with a DEC in Graphic and Web Design from John Abbott College. My language skills include English, French, and Japanese I love writing fiction, gaming, fashion design, and studying history.
Highlight: Increased sales year over year; made web-based bookings the number one sales stream. Created systems of organization and project hierarchy within the web team to improve productivity.
Led my team in building and populating hundreds of gallery APIs in Crowdriff in only 3 business days.
Maintained user generated content through Crowdriff. Established rigorous quality standards to meet brand integrity.
Managed and directed projects and tasks through Workfront. Designed and built hundreds of Google HTML5 ads.
Built campaign pages, destination guides using Bootstrap, later CSS Grid, on Django, and a proprietary content management system called Sherpa.
Used an assortment of wireframing tools, culminating in Sketch.
Highlight: I saved the company time and money by crafting coding hacks in Magento that optimized the design of our site, and saved time in Bronto by creating time-saving workarounds for our newsletter design.
Working in the marketing department, I learned how to use Magento to solve existing website issues and create new pages that were mobile-friendly and responsive, and Bronto to craft responsive retina graphical newsletter emails. I also participated in product photography and retouching.
Highlight: Seeing projects through to completion from concept, to design, and printed.
My tasks included detailed Flash animation, vinyl banners, decal application, labels/stickers, website mockups, branding, and preparing e-blasts. I maintained an extensive print catalogue, and assisted with our websites in Wordpress.
Highlight: Creating original children’s artwork that was put into production and sold internationally.
While in Product Development, I maintained and crafted new packaging, technical manuals, and other product specs in English/French/Spanish. Products and tasks were kept up to date using Salesforce and a rigorous quality control system.
